"Throughout the history of art painters have portrayed Pandemonium in its many guises.  Here Hieronymus Bosch's The Ship of Fools and Caspar David Friedrich's Wreck of Hope are watched over by The Banker and his Wife by Quentin Metsys. Overlaying those images is a modern Pandemonium, a bombardment of unsettling news and opposing opinions. Emerging from this chaos are the words from the civil rights anthem 'We Shall Overcome'. The letters of which are made from pictures depicting the qualities we now need to draw on to achieve a healthy society." (Gill Govan)
